All I have to say is that this song is about the ONLY time the narrator had sex. Also, I love this song. It is not appropriate to play at weddings (especially since there is a problem with premature ejaculation*, which is not a thing we generally wish on people), but that only enhances my joy when it IS. I go to very few weddings, but I have definitely heard this song at several, and snickered my way around the dance floor each time.

Wow! I'd never heard this song. It's not doing much for me musically, but it gets points for premature ejaculation + good memories. AND I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE POSTING ABOUT SOMETHING YOU LIKE!!
ReplyDeleteFrankie Valli and the Four Seasons are HILARIOUS. There are much better versions of this song (think disco), but I am impressed with how earnest the posted video is, and with the hairdos, too.
ReplyDeleteThis is a ridiculous song. It is 5 minutes long and about having anonymous sex in *1963*. Granted, it's an old song, but it really drives the point home that the story is THIS ONE TIME I HAD SEX AND IT WAS COOL.
